Within each of us beats a courageous heart that longs for connection and growth. Sometimes life tests that courage, and we find ourselves overwhelmed, lost, and unsure. Therapy is a supportive and nonjudgmental space to be heard and to reconnect with our own innate resilience.

I work collaboratively with my clients, tailoring my therapeutic approach to your unique strengths and challenges. I use a variety of therapy approaches including IFS (internal family systems), narrative therapy, and systems therapy. I am trained in Brainspotting, a trauma-informed, brain-based therapy that addresses mental blocks and trauma through focused visual processing. I work with folks 18+ through phase of life transitions, early parenting, childhood trauma, inner child work, stress, anxiety, and depression.

I have also worked extensively with reproductive mental health, supporting folks through pregnancy and birth loss, termination, birth trauma, fertility challenges, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, and I am kink and poly friendly.

Madison has been my home for over twelve years, and it’s here, at Edgewood College, that I received my M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy. Before that, I studied sociology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Northwestern University. I love hiking, gardening, and spinning my own yarn. My family can usually be found in the middle of a tense Mario Kart race or watching Great British Bakeoff. We also enjoy spending time with our two rescue dogs, Samus and Appa.
